WiSAR Lab Paper accepted for IEEE Globecom Workshop (MCECN 2010)

A paper entitled 'An Energy Analysis of IEEE 802.15.6 Scheduled Access Modes' has been accepted for the IEEE Globecom 2010 Workshop on Mobile Computing and Emerging Communication Networks (MCECN 2010). The paper is based on work undertaken in the WiSAR Lab to estimate the energy usage and device lifetime in the scheduled access modes being proposed by IEEE 802.15.6 as part of the WiSAR Lab's research work on ultra low power wireless sensors.
